Knott’s Berry Farm Guide

Often marketed as “America’s First Amusement Park” (technically, Disneyland was the first to actually gate its themed area and charge admission), the largest area in Knott’s is Ghost Town, a realistic recreation of an authentic mining town using many actual buildings from Calico, California and Prescott, Arizona. Nearby, the park’s second themed land, Fiesta Village, pays tribute to California’s Spanish and Mexican heritage with a collection of thrilling flat rides and exciting roller coasters. Children especially love the rustic adventures found in the lush green pines of Camp Snoopy, while the nearby Indian Trails pays tribute to the Native American ancestry of our country. Dominating much of the park’s skyline and thrill ride scene is The Boardwalk, an extreme collection of coasters and adventures waiting to throw you into the days of seaside amusement parks. Just across the way is Wild Water Wilderness, where guests can explore the magic and mystery of the great Pacific Northwest.
